Re: freecad 0.19 techdraw problems with dxf
Without share model i think cause is:
frrecad tell: BCurve dxf export not yet supported
And freecad is not able in techdraw to export the title block in dxf

Re: freecad 0.19 techdraw problems with dxf
You mean because you use a special OS or because you won't use appimages?

Re: freecad 0.19 techdraw problems with dxf
Sorry don't understand .i use window not linux.i have several softwares installed i have no time .if you mean freecad i have 0.19 portable
Re: freecad 0.19 techdraw problems with dxf
Interesting there is a guy on Facebook with similar issues. Also, a similar profile imported dxf.
But, my question is me being confused...running too many social media sites at the same time.
There is a guy on Gitter who has FreeCAD 0.16 and can't upgrade because his Linux distro will only use stable releases after Debian has approved or some such and he is overly concerned about software being free under various license schemes and no user data given anywhere...etc.
Sorry for the confusion.

Re: freecad 0.19 techdraw problems with dxf
Hi got exactly the same problem was struggling with it for a while.
But basically Gears made by Freecad gear tool cannot be exported to dxf without problems.
Missing parts of gear like the OP had.
and "BCurve dxf export not yet supported" errors in console.

I just noticed this topic when approving this first post.
Also note that FreeCAD has two DXF import/exporters. The "legacy" one is written in Python where as the newer one is written in C++ but not all features are the same in each version. So if one does not work for you on a specific file, always try the other one just in case.
Look in your preferences...
look for these lines at the top of the page in the second image. In this case I think you will find your files will work via the legacy importer/exporter, but I am not sure.
Jim
The error message is tell you exactly what the problem is, the exporter does not have full or any Bspline/Bcurve support yet. The solution is for one of you or someone else to write that code. Don't forget that DGW is a closed proprietary format, DXF is an exchange originally only 2d CAD format, that has been extend and updated numerous times over many decades. Originally DXF did not support Bsplines at all.
