Hello Freecad friends,
I have a problem with missing lines in Techdraw...please see attached files...
If I switch to course view, I get the missing lines but then I loose the hole centres - which I need...
It is an assembly done in A2plus.
Freecad 0.19 (24276 on Win 10)
If I create a techdraw sheet of the component file in isolation , I dont seem to have an issue. It only happens with the assembly model.
Not sure if it is an issue on linux installations, as I am stuck on win10 for the time being.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks again!
Dave

Re: Missing lines for assembly drawing (A2plus)
Hi Syres,
Thanks for the help.
I am fairly new to freecad, so I wasnt aware of the A2plus shelling - Although now I know about it, alot more things make sense to me.
I gravitated around A2plus as it was the workflow that was most similar to my solidworks experience.
I will go back and find a work around, which looks like it is not going to be in the techdraw module but rather the assembly modelling...
Many thanks again,
Dave

Re: Missing lines for assembly drawing (A2plus)
I am happy to say that refining the shape of the model before doing the assembly with A2plus seems to solve the issue with missing lines in subsequent techdraw of the assembly...
Thanks again for the advice!
