Hi all,
I'm currently moving from Fusion360 to FreeCAD and I'm very satisfied. I'm a woodworker and technical drawings of my constructions are really important to me.
I have a small issue with radius dimensions. Is there any configuration setting to specify the length of the dimension lines?
Here is an example:
And here is how it looks in Fusion360:

Re: Dimension line length of radius dimensions
This is not possible as far as I can see. You can simulate it manually by using balloons without frame, but you will loose parametricity. A partially parametric workaround would be to use the technique presented by domad here in the forum, where you add some extra geometry and link it to an appropriate line of a sketch.

Set the "Rendering Extent" property (on the View tab) to "Minimal".
Re: Dimension line length of radius dimensions
Thanks, will try it when I'm back to FreeCAD.

Re: Dimension line length of radius dimensions
Thank you, it benefits me too
Now we only need the center marks of the circles to appear.
Cheers!

Re: Dimension line length of radius dimensions
Yes, Thank you.
You have to configure it in the preferences also so that it is shown when printing.
We have seen it close here https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=57429
