Inverse zoom in TechDraw?

Post by bensay »

Building the current version of FreeCAD from Github, the mouse wheel rolling direction that makes the 3D view zoom in makes the TechDraw zoom out. The mouse wheel rolling direction that makes TechDraw zoom in makes the the 3D view zoom out.

Has the mouse wheel turn direction for zooming been switched around? Is this a bug?

No change to this in TechDraw as far as I know.

Zoom goes in same direction for 3D and TechDraw with this:
OS: Linux Mint 20.3 (X-Cinnamon/cinnamon)
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.20.
Build type: Release
Branch: unknown
Hash: 4fb91e4f02636fdb69eb8471dbbbe154dc932872
Python version: 3.8.10
Qt version: 5.12.8
Coin version: 4.0.0
OCC version: 7.5.2
Locale: English/United States (en_US)

I have Edit>Preferences>Display>Navigation>Invert Zoom checked.

If you truly built from master yesterday then something is incorrect with your build routine, there hasn't been approx 500 commits in 24 hours, current Git revision is 27294 at the time of writing.

When did your Techdraw zoom last work, have you got the hash or Git revision for a working version?

Regarding the built rutine, then the inverse zoom is also present in FreeCAD Daily. So I guess it's not my build rutine?
