2:30 Selecting a face to support a sketch is prone to TNP => select a plane, moreover for something like a ThroughAll Hole.
5:20 You kill PolarPattern, you kill PARAMETRIC. :o

So if you change something in the tree construction, it will crash or not follow :(

Thats my style :D,, As long as the dimensions don't change, it doesn't matter for me. Still get the good part for 3d printing

selecting a face to support a sketch its a features on cad sofware,, if you already try the others cad software like fusion 360, zw3d, solidworks, inventor, autocad mechanical, creo, corelcad, rhino, gstarcad, solidedge, progecad, catia, and gstarcad mechanical. its doesn't matter to do that, because its just a feature to speed drawing than you create a dantum plan then drawing. And freecad allow to selecting face to create sketch :D.

Bad practice indeed, but you should name it, so that others can learn.

E.g.:
- Better think of where you center an object
- prefer geometric constraints over dimensions
- use the famous M key with polyline tool
- ...
