0.17 Quick Reference Guides (1st Pass)

Here are .pdf files created from the LibreOffice files. If anyone notices any mistakes - and there probably are some - please post here to let me know.

• The icon scheme in the originals has been changed so that the icons in the QRGs are linked to the originals in the wiki. If the artwork for any icons changes in the future, the icons in the LibreOffice documents can be more easily updated, so long as the name of the icon hasn't changed. In the old documents, the icons were cut and pasted.
• The layout in the original LibreOffice documents was simplified, now that I've learned a bit more.
• The guides for Part Design and probably Sketcher are incomplete and will be updated after the wiki is updated to include new tools and icons in those WBs.
• More WBs have been added so now there are QRGs for all WBs except those WBs that only have a few icons on their menus / toolbars.

For me the hyperlinks do not seem to work on win7 or kubuntu 14.04 from the ,pdf's?

Oops - it looks like I forgot to enable hyperlinks when I exported to .pdf. Thanks for letting me know; I'll fix and replace them.

Just took a quick look at the sketcher quick reference. Two thoughts:

1. On the Tangent Constraint, you note that point-to-point is preferred and edge-to-edge should be avoided. However, you highlighted the preferred method in red and the avoid method in green. I'd recommend switching the colors.

2. On that same page, you highlight several hot keys in both red and green but do not explain what the highlighting is intended to mean.

Joel - thanks; I made the corrections and uploaded a new version in this post. I still have more to do on the Sketcher and Part Design QRGs. Sorry for the delay of my reply - I have other (non-FreeCAD) things going on.
