0.16, but this probably should not be a problem, because it is the basis. When I started to create some content, it was not 0.17 yet

My guess is that not everyone can like the style of the course. A PDF with a description is included with the video. For sure when I started the stable version was 0.16 and it is still.

P.S. I do not intend to be rich on this course it is so extra

The course has been updated with changes in version 0.17. At http://freecadscourse.com/free-cad/ there are also files for individual vidotutorials from the youtube channel.
