Can someone recommend a tutorial of the Tree view? It's not very intuitive to figure out. I imagine it would take hours to cover it. possibly a book.
what i can understand is the idea of layers, but the tree view is a sort of hybrid between layers and edit history. it's a 2d representation of something at least 5D.

Re: Tree view tutorial
There is no special TreeView tutorial, it occurs only secondary in other tutorials. There is a Tree View wiki page though. Depending on your modeling approach the tree shows operations from Part workbench nested with the operation as a node and the components below; and features in a body in a sequence.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.
Re: Tree view tutorial
Don't tell me you'd read a book about the tree view
Start with the tutorials at the wiki and there're some useful video tutorials available too.
