Yes, but I've been dreaming for over a year (maybe 2) and haven't found time yet, to learn how to make a proper python package.
I find it quite easy to build this from source on Ubuntu. I can help if your interested.

I'm in the lintian-cleaning stage of packaging this, with any luck I'll have it uploaded to the community-extras PPA by tomorrow.
