Exact for this reason (different walls have different attributes) I never use this kind of workflow described in this topic.

But IMH if someone uses this workflow and the walls are fused in FreeCAD should not they be fused in ifc as well? At least is is what this user would expect.

Yes, the bundle of walls defined by edges in a sketch can have different Align, Width currently only - need to bear in mind in planning.

A sketch is used as a representation of simple architectural layout, then it is very convenient to alter the dimensions all around, allow more speedy design development, studying options in layout more comfortable.

Conceiving if different material, height, elevation etc. could be added.


And yes there is some problem I guess in OCC there fusing baseplate in the original ArchWall.py no longer works, so need to think how to fuse similarly in ifc so both FC and IFC have same visual representation.
