[solved] what is wrong with or before the export?

Post by thomas-neemann »

An error occurs when exported as equipment.
everything is correct when exported as a structure.

I can not see any error in your video. You are creating geometry, exporting importing, once as equipment, once as structure. No error at all, you did not even show the report console to see the errors.

this is what it looks like before export.

upps we are in the english forum ...

If I export the objekt to ifc and reimport it everything works fine. If I import your ifc I have the same wrong geometry after import. But I am not able to create the broken ifc on export.

found it. As said before. Use in export prefs force exprot as brep. If this is used the geometry in the ifc is correct exported.

1000 thanks. that is the solution. does it make sense to use this setting and the import setting: allow invalid shapes to set as default out of the box?
