dll error message V 0.19

Just a quickie Guys

I downloaded the 0.19 zip file, unzipped it, ran Freecad 0.19 from the exe file in the bin folder, all good.

I wanted to put a shortcut on my desktop, so I copied the exe file and pasted it on my desktop, BUT, when I clicked on it to run Freecad I got an error message saying
"The program can't start because FreeCADGui.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I looked in the bin folder in the zip I extracted (that the exe file is in) and this particular dll file is there.
I am assuming tp get the shortcut to work I need this dll file to be copied into windows somewhere.

Can someone guide me please?

Don't copy the file, create a link instead.

Right click on the "FreeCAD.exe" file in the bin folder, select "Create shortcut" from the menu, drag the resulting shortcut to your desktop.

I never got this type of error on my system but..... but I got msvcp140.dll file missing error.. a lot of time... I solve it very often, with different methods.. now I feel that I am pro in this
