Hello,
I have recently tried the daily build because I wanted OCC v7 and netgen. As this thread notes, Netgen is disabled.
Has there been any progress with reincluding Netgen?
I also successfully compiled the stable source myself (version info below), and although netgen was then included, OCC version was too old to use Boolean Fragments!
I need Boolean Fragments, what can I do in the meantime?
Thanks for all your hard work! I'm looking forward to seeing FreeCAD mature into a rival for the bloated-but-otherwise-excellent Salome

Unfortunately we are stalled with the packaging of Netgenmagnet wrote:Has there been any progress with reincluding Netgen?

Maybe you can elaborate your need for Boolean Fragments and Netgen. In the FEM we now have support for Gmsh as an external process.
As part of this effort at least a couple of users have been able to patch Netgen 5.3 and compile it against OCC 7.1 and then link FreeCAD against both.
If your interested in trying this, please open a new thread in this forum (I haven't done it myself so I'd like to follow along) but add a link here to the new thread.
