Glad you got it working. I just tried it on a clean 10.10 vm, but it failed trying to build netcdf which is a dependency of vtk. Did you have any problems installing vtk? What xcode version are you using?

I did not have problems with netcdf I did exactly I as I described in my latest post.

My Xcode is Version 7.2.1 (7C1002)

Ah, that explains it. I was trying to match the travis ci yosemite environment back when I created the vm, so I have xcode 6.4 installed.

I am unable to compile anything as the pc is showing an unknown error called Mac Error Code 43, if any solution is provided then I would really appreciate it.

The minimum version for the current Qt on MacOS is 10.12.
