No module named WebGui on Mac OS

Postby amrit3701 » Fri Sep 21, 2018 12:06 pm

I compiled FreeCAD on Mac OS successfully. But when I trying to run FreeCAD it gives me an error:

Code: Select all

No module named WebGui
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<string>", line 43, in Initialize
Given below are the command I used to compile FreeCAD.

Code: Select all

$ cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE="Release" \
  -DBUILD_QT5=1 \
  -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH="/usr/local/Cellar/qt/5.11.2/lib/cmake"  \
  ..
$ make ..

Qtwebkit is installed separately, and so cmake doesn't find it with just the qt prefix. You also need to add the path to qtwebkit.

Code: Select all

-DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH="/usr/local/Cellar/qt/5.11.2/lib/cmake;/usr/local/Cellar/qtwebkit/5.212-72cfbd_2/lib/cmake"
