If FreeCAD cannot be launched successfully, maybe it cannot create config files?

Maybe there is some package conflicts on your computer? Could you paste this command in a terminal:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
And paste here the output.

Do you mean there is no user.cfg in $HOME/.FreeCAD or you can't find the hidden .FreeCAd directory?
Yes,there is no user.cfg in the .FreeCAD directory

Am really grateful for every one's help and support on this. I re-downloaded the AppImage file and it works!.

This is very strange.
If the AppImage works then you must have good config files, so what happens if you try to start one of the "regular" versions? I ssume you are getting these from the PPA?
