Lots of Standard Materials missing in 0.19.16808 Win Py3Qt5 Build

Post by Syres »

When running a macro that looks up materials using:

OS: Windows 7 SP 1 (6.1)
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.19.16808 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: master
Hash: 0e17c22e3995693e1e329ee18af8c972a81fe831
Python version: 3.6.8
Qt version: 5.12.1
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.3.0
Locale: English/United Kingdom (en_GB)

I noticed that the list of materials was relatively small, taking the Steel-E360.FCMat as an example, it's not available. So I searched through the builds and the last one I could find with the complete list was:

OS: Windows 7
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.19.16653 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: master
Hash: aaae82970461c10b76281f4e4454ab086b5f7f21
Python version: 3.6.6
Qt version: 5.6.2
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.3.0
Locale: English/UnitedKingdom (en_GB)

The materials are still in https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/tree ... rdMaterial so I'm not sure if this is a packaging issue or a regression?

they are copied only on installation of FreeCAD see https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?t=20073 you can copy them manually as a workaround in the material data folder or in any other folder and set it in FEM preferences Material
