Windows 7 Doesn't Start FreeCAD

Post by hexeon »

Hi, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32-bit, on an Athlon XP 2800+ desktop with 1GB DDR RAM.
Installation with FreeCAD 32-bit msi finished okay.
I clicked on FreeCAD, nothing happens. Checked task manager, FreeCAD.exe is taking up 35,792 K in memory (private working set), and just sits there without doing anything.
Terminated the process, tried again, same thing.
Please help!

FreeCAD being a 3D app it requires the OpenGL 3D rendering libraries. It is possible your graphics chipset or card, or its graphics driver does not suppot OpenGL. Could you give some info about it? Some people have solved similar problems by updating their graphics drivers.
