FreeCad disappears when I select "Create New..."
I recently received a Raspberry Pi 4 and wanted to try 3d modelling on it. I downloaded FreeCad earlier today and I am able to launch the program, but whenever I select the "Create New" button, the program disappears. It doesn't give any sort of error report, so I have no idea what the problem is. I've been looking on this website for solutions, and I have found many posts with people experiencing the same problem. Most of these posts have solutions, but I am very inexperienced with both FreeCad and Raspberry Pi 4 and don't understand any of them. Can any of ya'll please very slowly walk me through what I need to do to get this to work?

Can you run FreeCAD from a terminal and post the output here?

Same Problem over here.
I reported an issue, and the Developer told me you have the pretty same problem.

Hi Bingus, because you are inexperienced about RPI4 I assume you've installed the 32Bit Raspberry OS right?Bingus wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 1:04 am I recently received a Raspberry Pi 4 and wanted to try 3d modelling on it. With the 32 bit OS the only way to run FreeCAD is to compile it yourself with Python2 and Qt4 options or Py3/Qt4 options. Don't be afraid about compiling, just follow Compile_on_Linux Debian section
Ask here for help.
BTW if I were you I would install Raspberry OS64Bit beta. I use it since 1 year with no problems. FreeCAD compiled with Py3/Qt5 (standard options) works fine
BTW2: here are step by step instructions to compile thé very last FC with Py3/Qt5 on you RPI4 RPIOS64Bit:

Wait, what? how do you run the x86_64 appimage on an arm processor? AFAIK we don't provide arm appimages.PainTER4711 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 4:06 pmCan you provide About info and how did you compile FreeCAD?

EDIT: Ok I see now this is not the same guy as the initial post, then your issue is most likely not the same as you're most certainly not running on a raspberry pi, you should have rather created a new topic or at the very least mentioned that it was on different hardware. Test again using the latest dev version: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bund ... kly-builds
