Restarting FreeCAD over and over again

Hello everybody,

My name is Dimaxum and I'am new to FreeCAD.
Great application, but I have to restart Freecat over and over again.
It looks if the application frees and have to quit en robot FreeCat again ... sometimes more than 5 to 6 times.

Is there a known issue or is it just me having this issue?

Where did you download FC from?
What operations are you doing that we can recreate to cause the issue?

Thanks for responding to my topic.

I'am from the Nederlands, but living in Belgium "Europe"
I have a iMac running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6

To be honest, I can't remember where in downloaded FC.

Hope to describe all the steps in proper English, because I set FC to Dutch (language in the Nederlands)

I try to draw a Hexagon for 3D printing.
Step 1. launch FC, create a new file
Step 2. Selecting PART
Step 3. Selecting Geometric basics
Step 4. Selecting Prisma
Step 5. Adding the messurements
Step 6. Selecting OK

Than I see the Hexagon as it ment to be .... but every NEW handle to the drawing is impossible because now icons in the menu a activated. So I have to quite FC and relaunch it again ... 1 step further in working on my Hexagon the same thing happens again ... NO active icons.

Hope that you can do anything with my step by step explanation?

I didn't find this as you suggested "problably you a using a PC MicroSoft"

You can try to reset the configuration with the button in the preferences. Another possibility is to delete your config files or to move them in case you want to restore them.

Thaks for responding to my post.

No, it didn't make any differences to reset the configuration. FC still has the same issue.
I started a NEW drawing to figure out if the issue was gone ... but no succes and does still do the same. Namely ALL drawing icons in the menu bar a cleared out and I can't select them ... again, only when I restart FC again ... same as before.

Just to make sure: You have to terminate all running FreeCAD instances, then delete or move the config files, and then restart FreeCAD again.

So, what I did in the meantime ...

I delete FC and started all over again bij downloading FC from de FC website.
I installed as recommend ...
Rebooted my Mac and launched FC ...

Still the same issues as before ... starting a drawing in PART, the drawing is made, ut then again I can't work on it.
Have to quite FC and relaunch it agin to continuing my drawing ...

What do I wrong, or what is going on?

I just like to draw a Prisma shape "Hexagon" for 3D printing in rubber.
