Re: Chocolatey - Windows Package Manager that FreeCAD can be installed from
Looks like the release went to 23074 and I missed the boat on the previous release the 23058.
Isn't there a way a Chocolatey released could be added with no rev number in the file name so this link stays intact and we still can use this simple way to update? And we don't need someone to manually update this link?

Hello, I think you are the maintainer for the freecad package? I just wanted to let you know that the link to the 0.19.1 installer has changed so the package is broken. New link is this: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/rele ... ller-1.exe hash should be different too since this includes some updated dependencies I think.redbaron2 wrote:

choco update of FreeCAD-0.19 still broken?
found a turnaround on the network, but forgot where.
It says that the hash-tag is not actual.. with some editing it is possible to change the hash and it goes then well.
But, not straight forward..
Thanks for your support.

Dear maintainer,
still the choco update won't work for FreeCAD on win10. Chcoco find the availability of the new freecad version, but fails to update?
is it still the hash problem?
or just the install1.exe instead of install.exe ?
Thanks

Sorry for the lateness of my reply. The moderators of the Chocolatey Community Repository had taken some time off for RL.
@lalberts
The issue of the update not working seems to be a naming convention for the FreeCAD installer.
I'm hoping that @sgrogan or @Kunda1 can kindly stick to a naming convention for the installer in the future.

Can the FreeCAD chocolatey package get bumped at someone convenience? Thanks!

@lalberts I can't comment for the packaging team but to clarify the installer that Windows users should use for 0.21.0 is located at https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/rele ... ller-1.exe
I assume that what you add on your side.
