Cannot include FCGears Package

I did following:
Uninstalled FreeCAD
Downloaded new installer
You guessed, Installed it.
Opened package manager
choose FCGears and clicked install
waited to download it took long and gave up
manually copied freecad.gears-master folder to mod
Opened FreeCAD again
opened package manager and it says, that package FCGears is installed is installed
no such a package (at any name) at list of packages

Win 10 32 bit
FreeCAD 0.18 v. 4 (GitTag)

I remember, that I could add it as a macro to part workbench, but IDK how.

Where are you downloading FreeCAD from ?

Do you have anything else in your Mod directory? Is anything shown in Report view? What's the output when you start from console?
You can try to reset the configuration with the button in the preferences. Another possibility is to delete your config files or to move them in case you want to restore them.

Can you also send full info about FreeCAD (About->Copy to clipboard and paste here). That might help as well.

Exactly, I didn't manage to catch any other package on such a misbehaviour.

@Karol Dembiński could you try to reproduce with 0.19_pre ?
Please backup any files before opening them in 0.19 since it is not backward compatible (you can open them in 0.18.4 afterwards).
