Re: An exploration into the Icon theme
Adjusted the colors a bit to be more vibrant.
Re: An exploration into the Icon theme
That is beginning to look good
I personally (just an opinion) would like to try even more vibrant?
Also - a lot of people use bog standard white background
I'd suggest presenting here both (for comparison) so that we don't end up with something dodgy.
Very interested in your colour swapper - that would be good addon for FreeCAD (where can I get it?)

Re: An exploration into the Icon theme
Finished off main toolbar for Sketcher. Very happy with the view-sketch icons, the original where not really clear and especially when you use high res and tiny icons the complex icons aren't really readable. I think this is really going to improve my workflow.
Also finally understand what that cross icon does, it stops the operation so I made it a more specific stop icon.(I always thought you would exit the sketch without saving.)
Pictures: Original icons: btw I have no grudge to anyone who made these icons, they all where good icons. But if you just focus on the icons and nothing else and don't have to follow this art-work directive they will be a bit better. Also doing icons for multiple workbenches gives you the ability to re-use icons and it even gets easier.

Very cool stuff, the spline icon looks weird with different sized vertex though. Also the subtractive box icon looks very similar to the thickness icon so if you can think of a way of making them different it would be better IMO.

Oh, nice workflow tweak indeed! Thanks for the explanation!MisterMaker wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 4:52 am Now I can make a color pallet give it a name and just switch too it. Basically a 30 minute job of switching themes changed to 1 second.
Blend file will still work without it but you are back to manual color switching.
Alone you go faster. Together we go farther

I noticed that when I made them, but I have a gazzilion icons to go and the subtractive and additive primitives aren't really import features in my opinion. MY idea is to do these WB:

Looking excellent, however I wonder if you have been checking
the styles for users with colour blindness, e.g. using https://colororacle.org/

Re: An exploration into the Icon theme
Couple of readable web pages on colour combinations for the colour blind
with example rgb values etc

There was an attempt.
Also updated Freecad original theme, it is already available for download on the Gumroad page.
