CAD/CAM/BIM events where FreeCAD could (should?) be represented

Postby yorik » Mon Feb 17, 2020 8:49 am

I thought of starting a thread to list events where it might be interesting for someone from the community to go represent FreeCAD, if possible.

At the moment found these 3:

- Speckle.works meeting, march 10th, Frankfurt: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/speckle- ... 2700147637

- BIM world, march 31st -> april 1st, Paris: https://bim-w.com/en

- BuildingSmart International BIM summit, march 23rd -> march 26th, Oslo: https://www.buildingsmart.org/event/int ... oslo-2020/

I'll be in Brazil in march, so probably unable to attend any of these (still "talking" with BS people about BS intl BIM summit, though...). But if anyone is interested in going to these, that could be great! Speckle.works is free, the two others theoretically are paid, but we could be able to arrange free tickets...

If any of you hears about other events, please post! Let's spread the FreeCAD word :)

I'm already considering IMTS in Chicago this September. I've reached out to see if there are any FOSS working groups we can connect with.
