Do you know of any physics engine/sim where I can test my simple mechanisms.

Have some feature requests, feedback, cool stuff to share, or want to know where FreeCAD is going? This is the place.

I have used Unity3d engine to test my simple mechanical devices.
Problem is it is not working with concave mesh colliders.

Do you know of any software that will let me put any objects (convex or concave) and perform physics ?

"put any objects and perform physics" is a bit vague...
Are you looking for something like the Dynamics workbench (forum discussion)?

Workbenches are either official or addons. This is an addon.
