There are many things wrong with this comparative, I haven't found a link to report them.

File formats: apparently FreeCAD can't open nor export to IGES and STEP.

It also says FreeCAD does not export/import the image formats like JPEG, perhaps they did not go to the Tools menu "save picture" or File menu import... then import as picture or geometry ! :)

They seem a little confused about WRL/VRML. They list is as WRL in export list and VRML in import list. According to wikipedia, they are the same. But WRL is only one of the optional file extension according to the FreeCAD exporter.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_f ... %80%93Z)#W

It says FreeCAD can not write WRL files, works here for me, although it is only one of the optional file extensions for VRML.

They say we can read VRML but it is not in the list of export formats on their web site, but WRL is. They are correct though, I just imported the WRL test file which I just now exported.

Also they should really mention what functionality is available via add-ons, 3rd party add-ons and what is in the default distribution.

Usually these "compare software" sites do a VERY shallow analysis... It might work for very simple things (a shareware to extract zip files, etc) but it's of no use at all for complex apps. If you compare freecad to other stuff like solidworks or revit, you see they do the same crappy analysis of both...

I wonder if any of them allow to compare "linux" with"windows" :D

It is a good moment to announce the good news, at FreeCAD we managed to gather enough money to buy Autodesk :D
