After reading the reviews, and seeing that most of the reviews are generic, it seems to me that very few of the reviewers have actually used FreeCAD.

Here's something from two separate reviews:
It's path module is really great, because you can predict the mechanics of cars which is excellent for fixing possible problems beforehand.
Pros: The Path Module is awesome I can see how the mecanichals process of the cars and electricity circuits works and know how I need to add to modify some aspects make them to work betters,
Another one that doesn't make sense to me:
Pros: The learning curve is much faster with the Polygonal system, since it is to draw in plane and to extrude. This is the main advantage of SketchUp. The use of the mouse to place and modify the polygons and to be able to give the exact measurements by means of a keyboard makes designing with this application incredibly intuitive.

You're right.. I didn't read the reviews, but I wrote an email to the company about invalid info (FreeCAD is not for 3D printing  ). I got an email back asking if i want access to fix the info. I said "yes", but no follow up so far. Looks like we have the first page with "FreeCAD is great" fake comments :D

The comments are really weird  it's almost as if they were generated by an AI...

Capterra is part of the modern wave of online communications based on generating page views and clicks. From their description:

Capterra is free for users because vendors pay us when they receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Capterra directories list all vendors—not just those that pay us

This is not automatically bad, but it does create the need for a lot of reviews. Not unlike the multitude of totally junk videos on Youtube with the only purpose of generating ad revenue.

Can we split off this thread in to another one to not divert away from the subject of the original thread. I mean it's relevant but it's also sort of hijacking too.

This seems right in line with the rest of the thread.

I expect that we are more or less done with Capterra and can go on to another example.

No need to split off another similar thread.

Not a particularly noteworthy mention, but we showed up in another best-of-FOSS list:
