Feature request #2748 Add "Measure radial" to Std Measure Menu?

I don't know if it is more easy. only i know is that there is not enough measurement tools inside of FreeCAD by deafault

• No angle measurement
• No radius or diameter measurement
• No Center to center measurement
• no mass/ inertia (of course there is no material defined in each part)
• ...

I would love to see some improvements in this range. However there are some macros for this see: https://freecadweb.org/wiki/Macros_recipes
But this works less than when it's inside the program!

Hi,
I've added some of these features in my Manipulator WB.
The Caliper is a Macro/Command Button that can provide:

• Radius measurement
• Center to center measurement
• Length measurement
  and
• Angle measurement (Work in Progress)

These measurement can be done on 3D Part, App::Part with hierarchy and Body objects.
The Caliper can be added to i.e. Global ToolBar to call the tool from each WB
