So I checked out the thread and noted it was closed, with the suggestion to continue on the developer mailing list.

I have since done that. You can follow it here:

It's generated a little interest, at least for the time. :)

I'm looking that threads again and it seems nearly all of them are in my to-do list. I completed some of them but there's a lot to do.

Just stay the course. ;) You've got your own use cases to help you implement those features, which is enough. We've talked about better QGIS integration for years, but I think we need a clear use case from the GIS side that is within our reach before we try any formal GIS integration...

@Joel_graff looks like it is generating some excitement. Hopefully there is a Joel_graff and HankanSeven12 in the QGIS world that are building the other side of the bridge towards us as well :lol: :pray:

For now, I have enough things in my list :) But I think when we finished Trails maybe it can sustain GIS related workflows.
