This is all I see.
View -> Panels -> Python console
There you type :

Code: Select all

import numpy
import gordon

Feature request: Mix 2 curves.
Should be
->2 curves descritized
->mix every points
x3=(x2-x1)/2
y3=(y2-y1)/2
z3=(z2-z1)/2
->approximate function.
:D
Should give a curve between the others.
or I missed something? What do think about that, Chris?

Another solution : Ruled Surface + IsoCurve

As a follow-up to this topic I played around with the compressed spring from Curves WB. Great thing and easy to handle!

Nevertheless I have some questions/comments:

It took a while until I realized that I had to reduce the angular deflection to get reasonable results, so this may be pointed out in the documentation.
I can see what increasing flatness does, but I would like to know a bit more. How many turns are affected, is it only the last one? Does it take more computing power if the value is raised (it feels so)?
Is it possible to have decimals for the number of turns?

Very clever solution.

I was trying this shape, but I'm going on a wrong way.
