Re: Curves workbench
The problem is that the curves are not correctly connected. There are gaps.
I have replaced the profile sketches with curves that are snapped to the rails (double-click the curve object in the tree view to edit).

Re: Curves workbench
Thanks.
How do you ensure that the ends of the profiles are on the deck or hull line? If I magnify a lot, it seems it is not though it could be an approximation in the representation of the geometry.

Re: Curves workbench
This is only visual inaccuracy.
Double click a profile (in tree view) to go in edit mode.
Black markers are free.
White markers are snapped to a vertex
Cyan markers are snapped to an edge
's' key will snap a free marker to the selected shape, or unsnap a snapped marker.
Full shortcut list are displayed in the report view when you create a new profile (first icon of the WB toolbar)

Re: Curves workbench
@jean.thil
… I am also a fan of CurvesWB and this WB is a permanent component of my FC_0.19.17300 (Win10_32).
Concerning ships hulls I meanwhile prefer the "simple" and stable PartWB Loft tool with 4 sketcher BSpline frames.
It is fully parametric and you can build your hull like a rubber part.
The half-boat file from above has some flaws in it (gordon profiles and rightclick) - perhaps a version incompatibility.

Re: Curves workbench
Where gordon curve fails, sweep on 2 rails can do it. Keep it Chris!

Re: Curves workbench
If I doubleclick GordonProfile in the file tree, I get the transform tool permanently.OS: Windows 10
Word size of OS: 32-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 32-bit
Version: 0.19.17300 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: master
Hash: 07d3423adda83e9bd013a52a1b1bd027ae9fa454
Python version: 2.7.14
Qt version: 4.8.7
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.2.0
Locale: German/Germany (de_DE)
In the icon bar there is no GordonProfile. ( I suppose it is the old/former spline tool)
I have the recent addon-version of CurvesWB.
Re: Curves workbench
Thanks.
You are still using a Python 2 version.
I checked the 0.18 Py3 version on the Win10 computer of my son. It works OK.
I'll give a try at the Python2 version.
The tool is hidden, if the required library fails to load.

I reused the icon of the older spline tool.

Re: Curves workbench
I have Issues with the Curves WB when I try to create multiple blend curves. Can someone help me, please?
I can generate the first blend curve w/o any problem (slide 1)...one name under the tree and one curve being displayed in the graphis area.
However, when I attempt to create the second curve, Freecad generates two curves under the tree list but only one being displayed in the graphics area (slide 2).
Attempting to create the third curve, FC generates three curves under the tree but one being displayed in the graphics area (slide 3).
Have the same problem with the creating BSpline curves.
