bug or not?
my sketch is on ZX, and when I make a split curve, the split curve is leaned on XY plane.

Curve on Surface doesn't follow my curve.
It's starting too far and finishing too far as well.

Normal face looks pretty nice now
But binormal face is a little bit "folded"

I am not sure this can be fixed easily.
You can try a higher tolerance to reduce the wavy shape.
But there is another problem : at the very end of the curve, the tangent is wrong ... I don't know why.

The Curve On Surface looks like better by resampling the Curve.

JoinCurve is exactly aligned with the face border, on the left side : this is looking for troubles.
You should make trim curves that extend beyond the face to trim.
