Re: Curves workbench
Trimmed Face doesn't work here. (the joinCurve was forced close)
And Z picked point still at 0.

Re: Curves workbench
Your base curves are usable with CurvedArray of CurvesShape WB.
Have a look there.

Re: Curves workbench
Yes, I know that
I want to study Curves workbench because it seems to be more flexible.
CurvedShapes WB has some limitations and simplification - for example, you are not able to make wing with different profiles on root and tip, as it usually done on real wings.
I feel that this Curves WB can.

I miss the line tool, which creates a line between two points. In the current Curves Workbench it is unfortunately no longer included.
Many greetings

Re: Curves workbench
I just restored it.
But I wonder why you would need it ?
The "editable interpolation curve" and the "blend curve" should both be able to create a straight segment (even though they will be degree 1 BSpline curves instead of real line segment).

Re: Curves workbench
Thank you Chris. That is new to me. The editable interpolation curve work, blend curve not:
Re: Curves workbench
Of course, the blend curve still needs 2 edges as input (not vertexes), but you can then set the parameters to the end of the input edges, and set the continuities to C0.freecad-heini-1 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 9:43 am Thank you Chris. Also, please not that the editable interpolation curve is in edit mode when you create it. You can double-click it in the tree-view to finish editing.
Re: Curves workbench
Hi Chris_G,
I had some problems using GeomInfo on my 4K monitor
Used font is too tiny and really hard to read.
Would you be so kind and change GeomInfo.py line 361
from:
to:
This will offer an easy way to prevent eye diseases
What do you think about this?

Re: Curves workbench
Done. Thanks.
I called the parameter : GeomInfoFontSize
