Exactly, just bypass the thieves. There is supposed to be a system for taking domain names off these sort of vultures. I know little about it except that it was created to stop this sort of thing.

Still freecad.org would be good. Maybe only cool, dont know.
Came today from Inkscape.org and Libreoffice.org and tried again to by the domain :D
I know, I know it was tried before but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Here is what I got :D still 2000$ without any conversation.... :D

My 2 cents, its not worth paying any amount for the domain name.

Besides freecadweb.org has been around for a long time now and I think is well established.

There is free freecad.tech for 50$ per year (10$ for the first year), but I don't think it's worth it unless someone has cash burning hole in the pocket.
