In memoriam: Roland Frank (r-frank) 1970-2017

Have some feature requests, feedback, cool stuff to share, or want to know where FreeCAD is going? This is the place.

Thanks yorik. Are you going to update the list? It's a huge void to fill.

Yes. It definitely needs an update, I don't recall the criteria I used last time (they must be on the forum somewhere), but it was something like everybody with more than 10 commits, or more than 500 posts, or more than XX wiki edits... If someone wants to help with that, I'd be grateful!

I'll try to do something to help and put Roland at the top of the list.

I am shocked with tears in the eyes. The first message after 4 months illness I read is disastrous. Frank showed me with posts and videos how to solve my problems to use freecad. He was the german language of freecad, a frontman and actor, a dynamic person to push these wonderful software.
Rest in peace Frank. My deepest commiseration to the family.
Now I will spend some time with his post´s and videos to be close to him.
I am not able to phrase my question as I want to do. The problem has to wait.
Thank you to all the very active forum members organizing what you did.
To honour Frank with a release name is a great idea.

In memory to Frank
