If you are on ubuntu karmic, I have an AMD64 precompiled package here: http://yorik.uncreated.net/scripts/Free ... itory.html
But that package has small problems (some of the draft commands won't work), and I have been too lazy to recompile after the errors were fixed,
so you'll have to wait for Lucid to have a 100% working package, but this one at least has the Part module (the most important) working...
I can't work with Freecad: "No module named part"

Hi
kind regards - kees
I am running FreeCad 0.9.xxxx on an AMD64 pc under Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) 64bit. I installed FreeCad from synaptic. FreeCad starts and runs here. Sometimes I encounter problems, most of the time because I pick a point FreeCad is not expecting (I think).Hi,
I 've tried to install the .deb package. And there is only .deb for i386 (I have a AMD64) architecture.
I will try to compile the sources again...
kind regards - kees
