Can you import a sketch image in FreeCAD? Plans to add this feature?

What is a sketch image? Is it a screenshot from a sketch?
Sketches can be copied from one model to a different one, even from one FreeCAD instance to another with the common copy/paste functions.
Images can be imported with the Image workbench, either as 3D background or as a scalable element which frequently is used to (manually) trace an image.
