Hi,
I tried full parametric export of a sample model into IFC and when imported that IFC, the components got distorted. However, the IFC got perfectly opened in an IFC viewer. Please see below-attached screenshots and files.
Thanks.

Re: Issues with full parametric export/import
You mean, from FreeCAD, IFC export works great, but IFC import is not perfect.
Was there any option during import, which you neglected?

Re: Issues with full parametric export/import
There is an option in IFC export/import preferences where one needs to tick 'export full freecad parametric objects'. I did so. When I did export by unticking that option, the geometries got successfully imported but were non-parameteric.

Re: Issues with full parametric export/import
If you do export import non-parametric, what is the status? IS issue remain same or there is some change?

The "parametric IFC" experiment wasn't pushed very far yet, it might indeed still be buggy. But your file is a good case to get back into it Will look at it ASAP

Then, the file is imported correctly but we cannot make changes in that.hardeeprai wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 2:45 am If you do export import non-parametric, what is the status? IS issue remain same or there is some change?
