Hello,

I receive this message after I have edited Sketch
and then press "Save", "Save As" or "Save a Copy"

When you edit a sketch, PartDesign or Part-o-magic will activate the container the sketch is in. You should deactivate the container before saving, otherwise visibilities will be messed up when you open the project.


To deactivate all containers, press Leave button until it's grayed out.

I think it's a quite irritating message from Freecad. And it also occurs in Version: 0.17.13510 +12 (Git)

I was curious if it was only with me it occurs

I'm not interested in any workoround just pressing "Fix and Resave"

Huh???

It's "irritating" when FreeCAD warns you that you are about to head down a path possibly leading to confusion? :roll:

We need more of that sort of warning, not less.

What I know, I started FreeCAD.exe
and what I can see at the top left is the Fc icon.
So excuse my ignorance of what's what!

bgma1961, the Message window you posted a screenshot about is titled "Part-o-Magic". This is an add-on that is not part of default FreeCAD install.

Don't you remember installing it?

What's the status of part-o-magic now? Is it still an addon? Where are docs for it?
