After 15 years of development, Inkscape has released its 1.0 version (alpha)

Yes, of course! It's great software (too). Please hurry, there are only 3 bottles left: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=32420.

We should see this as stimulus for FreeCAD. I was convinced that 0.17 was not ready for version number 1.0 because it lacked an assembly module. Now that we have two approaches and there is light at the end of the toponaming tunnel, we might at least head for a 0.99.
