Mesh Wall Thicknes Analysis

Post by Nanayaw »

Hi
I like to suggest a feature what is very helpfull for part design specially for plastic parts.
It is the possibility to show the wall thicknes of a meshed part from the surface to the oposite surface
The mesh color should be in the color of the thickness detected.
With this tool it will be easy to detect areas with bigger thicknes and so problems at the real produced part could be avoided.
I think also for people use a model for 3D Print they could detect small wall thicknes easy

At this link the calculation is explained
