"undo extrude" freecad

Postby kiwi_biker » Fri Sep 20, 2019 5:21 am

This gets exactly one hit in google and no sensible answer. Sorry I am very new to freecad, just three hours in. Still have no idea how to remove an extrusion once it has been made.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Select the extrusion in the tree to the left and hit the delete key.

An extrusion (Part Extrude) is normally an operation derived from a flat curve, usually a Draft Workbench or Sketcher Workbench trace. Therefore, if you want to undo the extrusion, you can just delete it. The extrusion can always be recreated as long as you have the original flat, 2D trace.
