Hi,
The Transform tool manipulator (gizmo) it's a pretty fancy and useful tool. It lets you easily transform objects without the need of inserting any number.
It would be cool if this feature is added in the Additive/Subtractive volume Task, just after when you set an attachment:
What do you think?
I really think it would be a great user experience boost.
Cheers

Hello pablogil,
It seems what your request is very similar (and located at the same place in the work-flow/tasks) as this ongoing discussion.

Which is essentially a "non movable" version of what you request.DeepSOIC wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 4:52 pm So, for a potential developer (me, possibly), here's a list of things to do.
* add CS marker to datum planes, at least for the time it is being attached.
(that way, it will be easier to understand what roll, pitch and yaw do)
* (if possible) make datum plane's top and bottom look different.
* new attachment mode for sketches, to treat a plane as a plane.
* make the new attachment mode default for sketches made on datum planes.
* an option in preferences to change it back, for those who can't adapt to use LCS instead of a datum plane.
* make it easy to attach sketches to LCS object in PartDesign.
Does that sound good?

It would be nice for sketches as well.

Re: [Feature request] Manipulator in Additive/Subtractive volume
Well, I would say my suggestion is a new point in @deepSOIC list. It’s a graphical helper to be used once you have the attachment setup, so that you can translate/rotate the object to its final placement in a much easier way than going through the 6 numerical inputs that define the whole placement...
