The problem has disappeared for me now. Btw, I didn't have problems with GitHub.

FreeCAD forum was fast as usual until ~5 hours ago. Then it became awfully slow again.

Unless there are any objections I will switch the wiki to read-only tomorrow and begin the migration; it may be read-only for quite some time, with a worst-case scenario of ~24 hours or so, hopefully less than 12.
