Which Workbench for Rendering site with multiple structures?

Question 1:
I need to create a 3D rendering of a site with multiple structures.
- Would I use the "create parts" Workbench to create each structure as a "part" and then import them to a session...
- Or would I use the Arch Workbench
- Or what?

Question 2:
Also, are there reconstructed structures?
- A simple rectangular building
- other structures?
- Landscape with green grass?
- Landscape with gravel?
- Landscape with concrete or other hard surface?
- Chain Link Fence?

Question 3:
Finally, and off topic -
I installed FreeCAD version 0.18 on this Win10 PC way back but am just now using it.
To upgrade it do I delete this version and then install the latest...
or what?
