Greetings,
Wonder how hard it would be to implement a "stop/pause transaction" option in the window Icon menu. This would be similar to the one used in SAP/MERP and a few other programs.
Usage example: If a records search is too large (or in this case a conversion, etc. is causing the program to not respond), you click on the top left windows icon, in that menu is a "stop transacton" or "pause transaction option" which ends the offending thread but does not defile the main program shell.

From what I know it is very hard, or in the current situation near to impossible, because the geometric OCC kernel doesn't support it. So tis would require a different software architecture.
