[Features Requests] Sketcher Radius/Diameter presentation

Post by Shalmeneser »

In Sketcher, Radius/Diameter dimensions are written horizontally.
Would it be possible to write them (slightly) sloped (at creation) to discriminate them from horizontal dimensions ?

I am not sure if the first request was for the text or the lines of the dimension, but
I would certainly vote for ensuring the initial dimension line to be at a slight
angle. I am often having to move it see horizontal lines (geometry/axis/construction)
hidden when it is inserted.

It's both. I understand the feature request doing automatically what I usually do manually: rotate the dimension at least a little bit off horizontal. How about 10°?

The text is always parallel to the line.

but what about adding R or ø prefix if it's possible?

Thank you for the clarication.

1) Agreed 10-15degrees sounds good
2) Ideally allow the option to have dia/rad dims shown
horizontally as well as in line.
3) Support ø/R

Best Wishes

I think 10 degree might not be enough for my taste. I like what Shalmesener did.
