Is it only this specific dialog or you do have other dialogs of FreeCAD showing this behaviour?

If other dialogs do not suffer from this issue, then I might be able to compare dialogs and "find the difference". It may be that I set some property in the dialog that I should not have...

Wow, thank you! Tweaks is already installed and in use. One of the first things after a new install. "Attach Modal Dialogs - When on, modal dialogs are attached to their parent windows, and cannot be moved." was turned on.

The window which opens after taking a screenshot via the Macro_Snip behaves the same. Actually it's pretty useful regarding posting pictures to the forum

Macro_TechDrawTools opens in a window which doesn't move with the parent window (Attach Modal Dialogs turned on).

When I turn Attach Modal Dialogs off, the main windows stays where it was - yes.
