Hi,
I'm trying to remove a segment from an additive pipe extension from a body. I have tried both a hole and a pocket on the desired position but all that I have managed is for freecad to "draw" the segment I want to remove (as shown on the image) but not remove it.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug. Any help on why this could be happening will be greatly apreciated.
I've loaded the FCStd file if needed.
PD: If this is not the correct place to post this question, please let me know.

Re: pocket on additive pipe
Hi and welcome to the forum!
You have to draw all sections of AdditivePipe in the same sequence: start all with the inner loop and then add the outer or do it for all sections vice versa.

Re: pocket on additive pipe
Hi, Thanks for the answers.
I redrew the object using all the recommendations and it worked as expected. I gather from this that I had a measurement error somewhere creating a measurement mismatch...
I will definitely apply both recommendations on my future designs. I'm a bit rusty on CAD design and new to freecad as you must have noticed.

Re: pocket on additive pipe
fpons, I noticed on your second attempt the pocket didn't cut into the radius, that might be what made it work.
Re: pocket on additive pipe
Hi,
I tried reducing the radius as well before, and it didn't work. I'm sure it was an issue with my part dimensions.
Thanks.
