We should look at the following tags:
- #tobeclosed (https://tracker.freecadweb.org/search.p ... tobeclosed): tickets that have been deemed ready to be closed but are pending for some reason.
- #pending (https://tracker.freecadweb.org/search.p ... %23pending) tickets that are .in a 'holding pattern' for some reason (waiting on a reply)
- #pending-forum (https://tracker.freecadweb.org/search.p ... ding-forum): tickets that are waiting for forum discussion outcomes
- #pending-PR (https://tracker.freecadweb.org/search.p ... pending-PR) tickets that are pending on a PR
- #post-to-forum (https://tracker.freecadweb.org/search.p ... t-to-forum) tickets where OP didn't follow guidelines to post 1st to forum
- crash (https://tracker.freecadweb.org/search.p ... ring=crash) crash tickets that need to be rechecked with latest FreeCAD HEAD
We need to update tags if necessary. So if a ticket has been #pending and say in the forum thread (that it's associated with mentioned in the ticket) someone has submitted a PR that is still in review, then #pending needs to be changed to #pending-PR. Note: If you need more clarity on this, feel free to notate the ticket or post in this thread.
TL;DR
- choose ticket from filtered tag list
- review current condition of ticket (comments, current state, etc.)
- if status warrants, create a forum thread, etc. (dependant on tag) (Add tucket number to the forum thread title)
- attempt to confirm in latest build
- notate ticket (always add About info)
Anyone interested?
Edit: Another approach is to choose a workbench and go through all tickets associated with said workbench.
